Priscilla Emasoga (born Priscilla Emasoga in 1999) is a Nigerian blogger, writer, entrepreneur and now an actress. She is best known for her blog. She is one of the highest paid blogger in Nigeria. :)
EARLY LIFE AND EDUCATION
Miss Emasoga was born and raised in Asaba, Delta State, Nigeria. She is the first daughter. Priscilla began to express her hobby in writing at early age. Determined to make it in life, she put herself out at the age of 16. She finished secondary school at the age of 17 and, at 18, enrolled at her acting career to assist her family and support herself through school.
She started blogging as a hobby. At that time, the internet was not as pronounced in Nigeria and she had to make her posts at a cybercafe.
THE LIFE OF PRISCILLA AS A BLOGGER
Well, she have been on line doing all these web stuffs since when she was 12 years old but she started blogging 2 years ago.
She wasn’t that serious with it at that time though. She started with wapka and I based more on web design. It all started 4 years ago when she requested for a download site from someone and he mistakenly gave her wapka.mobi URL.
So, one thing led to another, she met a lot of people, gained a lot of experience and here she is today…
Priscillanaija was created last year. After she left Wapka because of their constant server problem.
So she created Priscilla naija and Gistlab. They hasn’t been active for a while now because of her recent acting activities.
Blogging is something she has dedicated everything she had to and so she must make it work.
HOW PRISCILLA TURNS TO AN ACTRESS
After some months after Priscilla's site Had been offline we discovered that it was because of her exams, but still after the exams we now started seeing Priscilla as an actress.
In the recent interview with PeoplesGist.com, she revealed that her intention into acting is a side passion of her. Since she now have the opportunity, she wants to make very good use of it.
HER ACTING CAREER
Priscilla was shot into stardom by her role in a movie, in which she played the role of a possessed servant of a chief priest. Her performance in the movie was so exceptional that she was offered many more acting roles subsequently. That was how her success story began.
In an interview she once granted, Priscilla narrated how her coming into acting came by coincidence.
She had resorted to auditioning for movie roles after she finished her WAEC exams.
She also revealed that, growing up, she found life very hard and tough, as she had to work as a blogger to survive.
RECOGNITION
In January 2016, Techfect interviewed her and she was profiled Africa's 20 Most Prominent Women and the issue featured profiles as a young Nigerian women.
