Nollywood screen goddess, Genevieve Nnaji has warned her fans about impostors using her name to defraud people online.
She expressed her sadness at how fraudsters are using fake accounts in her name to extort money and valuables from her clients.
“Pls do not fall prey to fraudsters of any kind. Do not be misled to pay any amount of money in my name by any individual of any sort via any social platform of any kind. If request do not come from my personal website or any of my verified accts pls ignore.
In this day and age, I expect it would take a lot more than time and data to get away with lies and fraudulent behaviours.”
The actress was recently accused of purchasing goods and refusing to pay fully.
She however set records straight, adding that the indicter is only looking for mere attraction and that reacting to his claims would only soil her name and personality while giving him the desired attraction.
