Singer Adele was embarrassed as her credit card was declined at a retail store “H&M” on Sunday, July 31, Mirror reports.
“I went to H&M and my card got declined,” the singer told the crowd during a performance in San Jose that evening. “Oh my day’s pretty embarrassing. Nobody knew it was me, but I was mortified.”
Before the incident she was able to make purchases at a different store Sephora, she said.
“They have everything!” she told the San Jose crowd. “I spent $100 on stuff I do not need, I never need anything I buy at Target but it’s amazing.”
