Mikel Obi Scores As Dream Team Defeats Denmark To Qualify For Semi-Finals
Nigeria’s Men’s football Olympic team, Dream Team brushed aside their Danish counterparts earlier today, Saturday, August 13, 2016 as the team won their quarter-finals match of the football event of Rio 2016 Olympic Games.
The team captain and one of the over-aged players allowed, Mikel obi netted the first goal of the match as the Nigerian side later won 2 goals to nil against a resilient Denmark side.
The country’s U-23 side played Denmark to an exciting football that left many Nigerians grinning from ear to ear.
The Samson Sisia managed team is now through to the Semi-Finals of the competition.
