Two inmates of Kuje Prison in Abuja are currently on the run. The inmates who are awaiting trial, escaped by scaling the fence of the prison yesterday at about 7pm.
Above is a Photo of the fence of the prison. According to Sahara Reporters, the names of the inmates on the run are Maxwell Ojukwu from Delta and Solomon Amodu from Kogi.
There were speculations earlier today that the suspected mastermind of the 2010 Independence day bombing, Charles Okah who is being held in the prison, was among the inmates that escaped but the prison authority’s have refuted the claim.
